Getting your product out of China and importing it in your target country.

How to go about clearing customs in the US? Will the supplier fill-out these forms and handle customs?

Answer is they will give you that option but you're probably paying a 20-30% premium on logistics.

It's very easy to find a freight-forwarding company or a shipping & logistics broker.

Think about a huge cargo ship and what happens is it gets chopped up in smaller pieces and handed out to smaller companies who will book shipments on that ship and take a percentage of that cost.

So somebody like that - a freight-forwarder - will usually specialize in a type of product or a region that you're shipping to. For example somebody will be an expert in textiles to the USA, or electronics to Europe. So they will understand what the typical problems and issues are with importing into that country and they will be very familiar with custom rates and duty etc.

So you want to talk a bit about getting your goods in and what the regulations are.
