Located in the brand new area of Alta de Lisboa, Parque Oeste is known for its wide lawns and a set of lakes. It was designed as the main park of the huge real estate project that Alta de Lisboa, close to the Lisbon Airport. Occupying a previously extensive illegal housing area, Alta de Lisboa was started in the 90s, and changed the landscape completely. Besides this park, another big green park can be enjoyed by the community: Parque das Conchas, close to Lumiar area.
