On June 21, 2023 I checked heritage units and to my surprise, P290-21 had Amtrak P42DC #130 the 40th anniversary unit on it! So, I decided to head to the Saratoga train station in Saratoga Springs, NY. After 20 minutes of waiting, the announcement for Amtrak P290-21 was announced, and I got out of the car and got ready for P290-21! Two minutes after the announcement, P290-21 rounded the bend and had 130 leading! This was a surprise because last time I heard about 130 it had PTC (Positive Train Control) issues so it couldn't lead, so that was a genuine surprise that she was leading P290-21!
