154 actors will perform Shakespeare's sonnets, in order, one a day.

A minute of hope and beauty each day.

Shakespeare's Sonnet 4 is performed by Gavin Fowler, who was in our performance of All's Well That Ends Well and many leading roles at the RSC.

"S gets witty about wanking, employing financial terminology to scold the youth for focusing on self-pleasure rather than trying to impregnate a wife. Note the play on ‘use’ ‘usurer’ ‘lend’ and ‘spend’ - sexual release as a financial transaction." Gloss by Dr Molly Yarn.
