Fathimath Shahana K, a 21-year-old second-year MBBS student at the Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences in Chalakka, tragically died after falling from the seventh floor of her hostel building on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 11 pm, and the initial investigation suggests that Shahana may have accidentally slipped while sitting on the handrail of the corridor on the top floor. She fell between the corridor and the wall and was later pronounced dead at 2 am
