US President-elect Donald Trump has issued threats of imposing import tariffs, this time targeting India. Speaking at his Mar-a-Lago club, he said, "We have to talk if India charges us 100%, and we charge them nothing for the same. You know, they send in a bicycle, and we send them a bicycle. They charge us 100 or 200%. India charges a lot; Brazil charges a lot." Trump made these remarks while discussing plans to impose heavy tariffs on China but pivoted to criticising Indian import tariff rules.
