Part 3 = The Lady Chapel - Filmed on Wednesday 15th February 2023.

Such an important historical place!! The "site of the only visitation of The Virgin Mary in London" in medieval times!

When the dissolution of the Monasteries came "under King Henry VIII" = The Lady Chapel was turned over for secular use! & by the turn of the 18th century "This area had become a Printers Workshop = & that is where Benjamin Franklin, learned his trade."

It was only in Victorian times, that "The old Lady Chapel was purchased back, by the Church" = it was almost in ruins by that time, & was greatly rebuilt & restored, to give us what we see today. As you'll have seen from the last video = the Lady Chapel was closed to visitors, on my last visit! So along with 20 seconds of footage, in the next video "its taken a little while, to put this sequence of videos together.
