He also adds that the 'tax pool of states impacted' due to the price cut in fuel. Nirmala Sitharaman had cut the fuel prices in the country to give relief to people from the rising inflation. Petrol prices were cut by Rs 7 per litre, while diesel prices were cut by Rs 6 per litre.
