👋 Lets see how my AAM Active Exhaust sounds compared to Armytrix 90mm Valvetronic for the GT-R! In todays video I go back to the classic exhaust comparison! I compare the Armytrix full exhaust system offered for the 2014 Nissan GT-R to my current setup. AAM 90mm exhaust with the valves open, 1050cc fuel injectors, 3in intakes and the AAM Competition Stage 3 ECU tune running on Flex Fuel E85 with 700 HP!

Car rips so much and is a true monster to handle! Crazy enough, with the AAM Active exhaust it's even quieter than the Armytrix compared valve closed to valve closed. And valve open to valve open, the AAM system flows much better and sounds deeper!! The AAM exhaust on my GT-R sounds amazing and I couldn't be happier with the Flex Fuel setup! Had to fight traction a lot, but still put it down well! Set the clutch capacitors at +5 to handle the launch. This was the first time doing launch control with the E85 tune, and it blows my mind how quickly it hits 100mph. I was even on low boost for the E85 launch!!

👁 About this video : Todays video I show the sound comparison with my Nissan GT-R R35 comparing the Armytrix Valvetronic muffler vs the new V2 AAM Competition Active exhaust! All of the AAM clips, GTR was running Flex Fuel E85 while the Armytrix clips were running 93 octane fuel. So while there was nearly a 100 HP difference, the fuel doesn't change the sound. In person the AAM Exhaust has a deeper tone compared to Armytrix and is very crisp sounding all the way to redline. Armytrix is a pit higher pitched. Valve closed the AAM is significantly quieter and really eliminates a ton of the engine sounds. Armytrix isn't as quite valve closed. Both systems do sound amazing, but I will say I like the AAM much better! AAM exhaust also is much better flowing for performance. Completely straight piped once the valve opens. Armytrix does have a bottle neck in their muffler when it splits into smaller pipes. Bolt ons for each setup include, 3in intakes, 1050cc injectors, fuel pump, Armytrix catless downpipes, Armytrix resonated midpipe. My GTR sounds even more awesome equipped with the new V2 AAM active exhaust and it is insanely fast on E85!
