Just south of Las Vegas starts the open desert. A long journey back home for those visiting Las Vegas, or a land of adventure for those seeking thrills. There is sky diving at Jean Nevada, hundreds of miles of dirt roads for the avid off roader, and the Mojave national preserve not far ahead.
