Thunders is a hollow lefthander located in the Southern Mentawai Island chain. It's a real swell magnet, and has to be up there as one of the most consistent waves in the whole of the Ments. Unfortunately, this attracts all of the charter boats in the area on the smaller days, and can make it pretty crowded for such a remote wave. 10+ boats joined us during the few days we were anchored there.
