It's been a while, but a new region calls for another recording of F2P friendly clears.
1) Aaron (0:00)
2) Bertha (2:46)
3) Flint (5:45)
4) Lucian (8:07)
5) Cynthia (10:54)
As usual, "F2P Friendly" means no 5* gacha. Grids, lucky skills, etc. are almost always optimal. This is more of a guide to inspire team building, not so much a "copy this" guide. The idea is you take a unit here and replace it with a better gacha unit that fills the same role if possible. That being said, these videos are more for my enjoyment, nobody watches these anyway!
Sinnoh seems harder than the other regions for sure, especially Aaron and his shitty bee. I also found Lucian to be difficult on my first pass, but later found it to be simple with Toucannon as long as it gets SE up on its TM. Overall, this week's F2P run felt very strict, I was basically forced into using certain units because nothing else would work. We'll have to see what the next 2 weeks are like difficulty wise. I think another reason why this week felt difficult was that the CS parameters were quite bad this time around. Permanent field effects is the only useful one.
1) Aaron (Use status/other conditions) - A. Raichu (3/5), Pikachu (4* 5/5), BP Raichu (3/5)
The video makes it look easy, but in reality a lot of time was spent on this clear. Raichu's grid is optimized for nuke damage, while Pika's grid is optimized for Tbolt damage. BP Raichu needs 3/5 for Endurance. -3 countdown is preferred to control power reserves range consistency. Raichu's sync has to crit twice, although if you promote Pika or Raichu to 5 stars, or just candy Raichu to 5/5, you can get away with one of the syncs not critting.
2) Bertha (Permanent Field Effects) - Abomasnow (4*, 5/5), Kyurem (5/5, 20/20), Cobalion (1/5)
Cobalion's gauge helps us spam Glaciate every turn. Abomasnow's two syncs should take out Nidoking before it can sync. Glaciate always has the chance of freezing / turn skipping, so that helps especially if Cobalion dies early or if you miss the post-sync timing.
3) Flint (Phys shield at start) - Mewtwo (6EX, 5/5), Probopass (4*, 5/5), Lunatone (4*)
Easiest battle. Mewtwo destroys Psychic CS as usual, no matter the region.
4) Lucian (Try not to let sync pairs faint) - Toucannon (5/5), Swanna (6EX, 5/5), Zamazenta (5/5, 20/20)
SE up on Toucannon is important if you want to one shot Gallade. Swanna syncs first for EX boost. Went with a striker build on Swanna, that 2k Aerial Ace damage helps out a lot. It's probably worthwhile to use Toucannon's TM twice for a higher chance of getting SE up.
5) Cynthia (Use stat lowering effects + Permanent Field Effects) - Solgaleo (5/5, 20/20), Serperior (6EX, 2/5), Scyther (5* 0/20, 5/5)
Fighting CS with accuracy debuffing enemies? Solgaleo it is. Serperior gives an EX boost, and is expected to die to the sync. Solgaleo should grab Endurance and Power Reserves 5. Sync takes Solgaleo low, and then Focus Blast hits super hard.
