AHOY! Welcome back to Adventure Sena, as well as to the first episode in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) as well as Portland (PDX). In this episode, we take a stroll to the Portland Waterfront, along the Willamette River, and a bike ride across the river to a sushi bar, to try a Japanese bar snack: Okanomiyaki, a sort of savory pancake.
Tim talks about a few of the best things about Portland, his inspiration for creating a Youtube channel as well as his struggles in establishing his place in Portland. We also explore some of the connections between Portland and Sapporo, Japan, as we remember dark days from WW2.
This is the first video to primarily use GoPro footage! I hope you all enjoy the evolution of the channel over time- I intentionally want to phase in better equipment as the channel grows. This will also give me a great reason to revisit topics/places with better gear!
As always, thank you for watching! Please like, share, and subscribe- and make sure your notifications bell is marked so you can see our new videos!
