In this re-edit I make my way from the Yahk forest service road to Elko where I camp for the night. The Yahk turned out to be a really nice ride. Lot's of climbing though. The next day I have a short ride into beautiful Fernie!
I had lived in Fernie recently so it was nice to catch up with old friends and I even got a hike up Mt. Fernie in. There is a really nice section of the Trans Canada that goes from Elko to Fernie but unfortunately a large section was closed at this time for logging so I was on the highway. Luckily the views from the highway were incredible. The trail has since reopened.
