Did you know this in hazbin hotel?

You might’ve noticed that the tv’s hotel is an old fashioned tv instead of a modern one. But why is this?

Well as we see during episode 2, vox who is alastors rival has the power to control and travel through any electric object. If they had a modern tv it would be a privacy and safety risk. Vox could listen in to the hotel or teleport in whenever he likes.

This can also be backed up by the fact that the Hotel seems to run on it's own power which we can see during the city-wide blackout scene in Episode 2.

It also shows another side to alastor. He clearly cares about the hotel and the main cast. So as a result he takes precautions to protect himself and everyone around him.
