The first journey of the Pune-Belagavi-Hubballi Vande Bharat Express took place on Monday, with over 200 passengers, including members of the media, participating in the trip along the Miraj – Belagavi – Hubballi route.

The newly launched Vande Bharat Express, adorned in an orange livery, successfully traveled from Miraj to Belagavi in a remarkable time of 1 hour and 30 minutes, establishing itself as the fastest train on this route. The train arrived at Miraj Railway Station at 8:30 PM, departed for Belagavi at 8:40 PM, and reached Belagavi at 10:10 PM, achieving a maximum speed of 110 km/h during the journey.

Upon its arrival at Belagavi Railway Station, the new Vande Bharat Express was met with a grand reception, featuring a large gathering of people who chanted slogans such as ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram.’
