Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam on Tuesday (Nov 29) rounded up the debate in Parliament on repealing Section 377A, the law criminalising gay sex in Singapore, and amending the Constitution to protect the definition of marriage from legal challenges. Mr Shanmugam also addressed questions that MPs put to him during the debate, and spoke on the Workers' Party (WP) chief Pritam Singh's decision to lift the whip for WP members to vote on the issue.
