Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford, was Queen Elizabeth I's illegitimate changeling son, as was Francis Bacon, the Earl's half brother. Together they formed The Honourable Order of the Knights of the Helmet named in honour of Pallas Athena, the Spear-Shaker, who wore the helmet of invisibility. The main author was Edward de Vere. Francis wrote three of the plays. However, the two concealed royal princes co-ran the propaganda ministry of the British Crown. Will Shakspere, a childhood friend of Lord Oxford, became the frontman, an actor who played the greatest role in history.
