EVP and Group CEO at Verizon Business Tami Erwin says there is a lot of capability that comes with 5G that is “important for industrial and commercial use cases”.
“For us it’s also about using technology to solve some of the world’s biggest problems,” she told Sky News.
“We deployed 5G in 34 cities in the US, 17 stadiums through the NFL,” she said.
“What we are seeing in these lab environments is the ability to really test use cases for very specific vertical.
“So, we are seeing rapid adaption in manufacturing and in retail.”
