How do you feel about the recent interest rate rise announcements? The interest rate hikes sure have been quick. In a recent video Dave Ramsay spoke about 'The great thing about the fed raising interest rates' and this video is about a recent email from the Barefoot Investor explaining why he loves higher interest rates and the benefits on those interest rate hikes.
The barefoot investor gives 4 reasons why he likes the latest interest rate rises and these were:
1. They give people an incentive to save money.
2. They discourage people speculating on dumb things.
3. They bring down house prices and give first home buyers a chance to get in.
4. They help pensioners earn a few crumbs without risking all of their money in the share market.
