This video was not intended as a serious evaluation of the Eclipse Cross. My wife and I were just out at the beach for the day and decided to have a little fun off-roading in our new vehicle. Having said that, the vehicle performed very well considering we did not air down the tires as you would normally do in deep sand.
As of Dec 2020, we have owned it for about a year and a half and absolutely love it. It has been super reliable and a fun to drive. We chose it over the Subaru Crosstrek, which IMHO, did not have enough power when passing. We also had looked at the Honda CRV (which are very nice) but the Eclipse Cross had a better warranty, more features for the money and lower interest rates.
