Syrian Television on Saturday September 14 reported that government forces had regained control of several parts of the ancient Christian town of Maaloula.
The oldest Christian community in the world lives in Maaloula which is considered a symbol of the Christian presence in Syria, its people are among the few in the world who still speak Aramaic.
