As an augment to the second part of our interview with the most entertaining Eduardo Montresor, we present a tasting of the 2018 Montresor Capitel Della Crosara Valpolicella Ripasso, currently available widely across Ontario for a very reasonable $19.95.

While I’m often not a huge fan of Ripasso method wines, I found Montresor’s single-vineyard Capitel Della Crosara to possess a certain lift and vibrancy that I found myself rather fond of. It’s one of those rare Ripassos that I would happily return to for a second, third, or fourth glass.
