This court case is about a park that a senator left to the city of Macon, Georgia for white people only. The city used to follow this rule, but later allowed black people to use it. The Board of Managers sued the city and the park's trustees to get new trustees appointed. The Georgia court appointed new trustees but said that the senator had the right to limit the park to only white people. The Supreme Court of Georgia agreed with this decision. But the court also said that excluding black people was against US laws and public policy.
