So, some patients report concerns about the long-term effects of the vaccine, including potentially how long it lingers in the body and how it might have effects in other parts of the body. But what's really important to know is that the vaccine really is just sending a message to the body so that you can create the defenses, the antibodies that's going to protect you against COVID-19, but that information does not stay or affect other organs nor does it change someone's DNA.
