The Unmatched system is likely the most accessible board game we’ve ever seen! With miniatures doing battle skirmish mechanics that reminds us a bit of MOBAs (Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas like League of Legends or Dota2), you pick one of the 4 characters and fight to reduce each other's hit points to 0. You can even do multiplayer with a team play option, which keeps replayability really high. All you do is grab a hand from your asymmetric deck, and play cards facedown to fight. And the game time is only 20-40 minutes! It’s no doubt why Unmatched is so popular, with expansions of Bruce Lee, Daredevil, and other comic book heroes.

But is this tabletop game balanced, and what does the community on BGG have to say about that? Could Unmatched be too basic for a modern board gamer?
