The congregation of the Franciscan Elizabethan sisters was Founded in Italy, Padua/ Bassano del Grappa by Elizabeth Vendramini in 1828.
We are an international congregation working in: Italy. Kenya, Argentina, Ecuador and Egypt.
In Kenya we are in the archdiocese of Nyeri irigithathi and mugunda parishes, archdiocese of Nairobi Karen and kahawa west parishes, Embu in thagaiya parish and in Malindi in Marafa parish.
We continue to pray for more vocations.

Sunday, 11th December. Capuchin TV will share in the joy of Sr. Esther Wangui Kimani as she marks Silver Jubilee or 25 Years in religuous life with Franciscan Elizabethan Sisters.
This celebration will take place at SS. Peter & Paul Parish, Mugunda-Nairutia, in the Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri, starting at 10am.
