2 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW before trying to complete this routine maintenance of chain and freewheel replacement on a RadWagon 4 ebike.
1) you have to have their unique removal tool (so don't bother ordering a normal tool)
2) when it arrives look closely there will be a section cut and when pressed will pop out. remove section to get through thinner portion of cord then carefully put back in place with splines lined up. You have to have the sliver of tool back in place before trying to loosen or it will give just enough to slip and create a loud clicking sound when you turn in either direction.
I ordered their freewheel and their specific freewheel removal tool from Rad Power Bikes.
I do not recommend this brand of bike because getting complete information about how to care for your bike all by yourself is near impossible. I would have loved to use the mobile repair service they had when I bought the bike but that no longer exists and rather than pay over $100 for someone else to do this job in 4min you can learn what they don't tell you.
I don't know if this applies to the other bikes made by Rad Power Bikes or not.
the vague "other" videos I referenced is ParkTools video on how to remove different common freewheel. I didn't include a link in case it gets updated but simply search their channel for freewheel removal.
