This is the first video in our series of FPGA related videos based on Xilinx Spartan 6 FPGA development board by FPGATECHSOLUTIONS. The board contains a variety of peripherals, including configuration EEPROM, USB to UART interface, 16 by 2 LCD, 7 segment displays and a variety of other peripherals which can be found in any general purpose microcontroller board. This video also explains how to create a Verilog program in Xilinx ISE and download the program the FPGA. In the coming videos we will discuss advanced projects like LCD interfacing so stay tuned.
