For the money, this Baretta is the best value electric guitar you can buy. Period. A comparable Squier or Epiphone is garbage. This is completely useable on a gig as is, with no necessary upgrades. Out of the Box. Plus it looks similar to one I saw Van Halen play.

This color is called Ruby Red, but back when I was a kid this color was known as pink. That was in 19-diggity-8, before the Germans stole our word for 30. Anyhow, this thing looks damn cool. That's kind of why I bought it. Also I wanted to learn how to shred, and if you buy a cool looking shred guitar, you will immediately be gifted with chops of Yngwie Malmsteem. So at $179 that's a good deal.

It has a very particular sound, which I dig. I kinda wish the volume pot had a different taper, but other than that, I have ZERO complaints. I will sell you mine for 5000.
