Gaienhofen is a village in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, located at the border with Switzerland, on the Untersee (Lower Lake).
The villages between Stein am Rhein and Gaienhofen are located on the Untersee (German: Lower Lake), that forms part of the boundary between Switzerland and Germany. The Untersee is the smaller of the two lakes that together form the Bodensee (English: Lake Constance).
