This is one of the most radical and amazing experiences that Rio has to offer that is the hang gliding or paragliding from Pedra da Gávea in Sao Conrado! Definitely this is a must you should do it with an amazing view an amazing experience.
There are a lot of Enterprises and pilots that do The paraglider or hand gliding. To make it easy I will let the links of the best enterprises for you in the description so you can book an entering contact with the enterprises directly. They have rules and yes it is safe to do it. There is a control for the pilots, they all have to be registered in the control and they can only do 4 flights per day. So, if really want to do it I strongly suggest you to book in advance, but check the forecast.
The fly is realized in ramp located in Sao Conrado neighborhood specifically in a Rock called Pedra da Gávea!
The enterprises offer a transfer from your hotel or you can meet them in some place in the neighborhood of Sao Conrado, usually in a kiosk on the beach and they will give you a ride until the ramp so you can jump with the instructor!
