Children are responsibility of the parents, they are not their ownership, asset or property. Their upbringing, nurturing, moral, spiritual and educational brought is the responsibility of the parents. I will be answerable to the Almighty Allah for the treatment, training and inculcating values into children and I will be asked about it.
Unfortunately we as parents blackmail our children emotionally. We expect and force them to listen and accept whatever we say whether it is logically right or wrong. This is not the right attitude.
