With an impressive career spanning over 35 years in sports nutrition, Don currently holds the position of The Nutrition X Consultancy’s Head Nutritionist, as well as Emeritus Professor of Sports Nutrition at Liverpool John Moores University. Research-active since 1980 in the fields of carbohydrate and fat metabolism, nutritional supplements and applied aspects of sports/performance nutrition, Don was also chair of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences ‘Sports Nutrition Interest Group’ and a member of the working party on sports nutrition accreditation; a joint initiative between BASES, Nutrition Society, the BOA and dietitians. He was secretary of the ‘physiology section’ of BASES and is an accredited physiologist with the British Olympic Association. A consequence of the work undertaken has resulted in two prestigious fellowships being awarded: FBASES and FECSS.
Working as a nutrition consultant to numerous top-tier and premiership level clubs across the UK throughout his career, including Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC, Sale Sharks RFC and Northampton Saints RFC, Don heads up our expert team of sports and performance nutritionists.

A former professional Rugby League player, Graeme is a professor of Human Physiology at Liverpool John Moores University and the only person in the UK accredited with the UKSCA, BASES and SENr qualifications. Graeme combines his academic research with nutrition and physiology consultancy to some of the worlds leading sports organisations and athletes currently working with England Rugby as Expert Nutrition Consultant. Graeme is currently the Deputy Chair of the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr) and is a fellow of both The European College of Sport Science and The British Association Of Sport and Exercise Sciences.
Both Graeme and Don work on the research and development of all Nutrition X products.
