[ Ссылка ] - Cat Litter is supplied to the bag weighing and filling system from a product supply hopper located above the bag filling machine. The cat litter is pre-weighed in a 1.0 cubic foot weigh hopper prior to dispensing into the bag. Then it is added to the weigh hopper through one of two methods: bulk or dribble flow. During the bulk fill sequence, the gravity gate and vibratory pan feeder adds the cat litter into the weigh hopper. Once the bulk fill portion has been satisfied, the gravity flow gate closes and the vibratory pan feeder completes the remaining product addition until the target weight is reached.
This type of packaging system can also be used for products with similar flow characteristics such as candy toppings, food products, etc.
