Can the mixture of super glue and charcoal powder make a good bonding material?
Let's find out in this video experiment together!
Materials used: Charcoal piece, sandpaper, super glue, wire mesh, wire cutter, duct tape, soldering iron, bolt
Experiment 1: Mending a hole on plastic cover
Experiment 2: Mending a crack on plastic cover
Safety fact: Superglue (aka cyanoacrylate adhesive) are reactive towards fibrous materials, hence the smoke you see in the video. It is advisable to not use cotton or wool gloves when handling superglue as it generates heat upon contact. However, it is non-toxic and neutral when in contact with skin.
