As per reports, Muhammad Yunus, the chief adviser of Bangladesh’s interim government, pledged publicly in Dhaka on Sunday to hold elections. But there’s a catch—Yunus insists that a ‘free, fair, and participatory’ election can only occur after the interim government completes its ‘mandate’ to implement what he describes as ‘vital reforms.’
