The new bill wants to:

- Have government offices share information to check if people are really citizens.
- Not charge money for checking if someone is a citizen.
- Take people off the voting list if it's found out they're not U.S. citizens.
The big change is that now people would need to prove they're citizens, not just say they are. This makes it harder to register to vote than it is now.
