ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭೋವಿ ಪದದ ಜತೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನಾಂತರ ಪದಗಳೆಂದು ವಡ್ಡರ ಜಾತಿಯ ಉಪ ಜಾತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಮೂಲ ಅಂದರೆ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಮೇಲ ಹೊರುವ ಮೂಲ ಭೋವಿ ಜಾತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶಿ ಪ್ರ ಜಾತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ತೊಂದರೆ ನಿವಾರಿಸಿ ಭೋವಿ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ, ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಕೊಂಡುಸಕೊಪ್ಪದ ವಳಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಭೋವಿ ಸಮಾಜ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಭೋವಿ ಜಾತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರ ನೀಡುವಾಗ ಕೇವಲ ಭೋವಿ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವು ದು. ಜತೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನಾಂತರ ಜಾತಿಗಳಾದ ವಡ್ಡರ ಪದವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಬಾರದು
ಸರಕಾರ ರಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಭೋವಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಭೋವಿ ಜಾತಿಯ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ವಡ್ಡರ ಜಾತಿ ಎಂದು ಮರು ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡದೇ ಭೋವಿ ಜಾತಿ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಭೋವಿ ಜಾತಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿರದ ಭೋವಿ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಸಮಾನಾಂತರ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಮೂಲ ಭೋವಿ ಜಾತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗಿಡಬೇಕು. ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಕೊಣಂದೂರು ಲಿಂಗಪ್ಪನವರನ್ನು ಹೊರತು ಪಡಿಸಿ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಮೂಲ ಭೋವಿ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಹೊಂದದೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮೂಲ ಭೋವಿ ಜನಾಂಗದವರಿಗೆ ಭೋವಿ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೂಚಿತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
