Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his Cabinet met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on November 21 to discuss crucial topics, including the Naga political issue, Eastern Nagaland concerns, the Nagaland-Assam border, and development projects.Deputy CMs TR Zeliang and Y Patton, along with ministers Temjen Imna Along, Metsubo Jamir, CL John, and Salhoutuonuo Kruse, attended the meeting. The visit followed NSCN (IM)’s recent statement on continuing the ceasefire with the Government of India.On November 23, CM Rio, Patton, and Zeliang also met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss state matters.
