Introduction:
I've recently discovered a great money-saving trick that I want to share with you today! Many of you might already be familiar with earning cashback through credit cards or by using cashback websites when shopping online. These two cashback methods can actually be stacked together. Now, I’ve found a way to add a third layer of cashback on top of those two: the Fluz app. The concept is simple—you use Fluz to buy gift cards and then use those gift cards for your purchases. The cashback rate varies depending on the payment method, specific merchants, and promotional periods. With Amazon’s October Prime Day coming up, Fluz will offer 8% cashback on Amazon gift cards. It’s a great time to set up an account and get ready. Plus, new users can enjoy up to 25% off as a welcome promotion. Let’s dive into the pros, cons, use cases, and some scenarios where it might not be ideal to use Fluz. Finally, I’ll show you how to use the app and calculate exactly how much you can save. You’ll find the signup link in the description below. Don’t forget to like and subscribe!
Use Case 1:
1. App-Based Spending: Nowadays, we often spend money through various apps like Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, Airbnb, Turo, and more. These apps typically don't offer cashback when using traditional cashback websites. But with Fluz, you can purchase gift cards for these services and earn cashback. For example, I’ve bought Uber Eats gift cards through Fluz to send food to my daughter in college, and I’ve used it once for Airbnb too.
2. In-Store Purchases: Sometimes, when shopping in a physical store, traditional cashback websites won’t work. However, you can immediately buy a gift card on Fluz and have the cashier scan it for payment. I’ve used this method at CVS to pay for prescription medicine using a Fluz gift card—it worked seamlessly without any issues.
3. Online Shopping: For instance, I recently purchased a dishwasher from Best Buy through the cashback site TopCashback.com, which offered a 2% cashback rate. At checkout, the total was $317.99. I used Fluz to buy an eGift card of the same amount and paid with PayPal, which is linked to my Chase Freedom card. For the last three months, using PayPal with Chase Freedom gives 5% Chase points. This allowed me to maximize my cashback by stacking three methods, resulting in a total of 7.5% back.
Pros:
1. Convenient Gift Card Management: Unlike physical gift cards, Fluz lets you buy just the amount you need, so you don’t end up with leftover balances or risk losing your cards. Everything is stored digitally on your phone, saving space and time. These gift cards work both online and in-store.
2. Extra Cashback: Fluz offers an additional 0.5% to 25% cashback depending on payment method, merchant, and ongoing promotions. You can pay through a bank account, credit card, or PayPal. Paying with a bank account typically offers higher cashback, but you miss out on credit card rewards. Compare the options and choose the best one. For example, Chase Freedom offers 5% points on PayPal purchases for three months, so I use PayPal to pay for gift cards and earn both Chase points and Fluz cashback. Amazon gift cards are a bit different—they must be bought using a bank account but typically offer 2.5% cashback. During Prime Day, the rate will be 8%, making it even more worthwhile. If you don’t yet have a PayPal account or a Chase Freedom card, you can find the free sign-up links in the video description—they're worth having.
3. Works in Stores Without Cashback Options: Many physical stores only accept credit cards or gift cards, not PayPal or cashback websites like TopCashback. Fluz solves this by allowing you to use PayPal to purchase gift cards and earn cashback in stores. For example, using Chase Freedom with PayPal lets you earn 5% Chase points on top of the Fluz cashback, which can add up nicely.
