NATO troops on Thursday (21/08) remained in control of five police buildings in the Bosnian Serb town of Banja Luka as the power struggle between rival Bosnian Serb leaders escalated. British and Czech troops from the NATO-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) backed by armoured vehicles stood guard at the police headquarters, police academy and three police stations as UN police inside the buildings collected evidence of human rights
violations. NATO troops found huge stockpiles of weapons in the five police buildings.
