Tamil Nadu: DMK party chief Karunanidhi has said that he prefers a secular government at the centre than a BJP led government, which will be dangerous for the country. This is seen as an invitation for the Congress for an alliance, but one that might not be accepted, for the DMK's flag is not flying high in the state, and so the alliance would not give the Congress any real advantage at this time.
