The authorities of Margate are too concern about unique facilities. Visitors comfort is their first priority. The special lifeguards are always ready to serve in the seafront. Besides Public toilets are clearly signed and can be found on the main pedestrian walkway adjacent to the large Promenade Shelter . There is a round cafe sited at the Clock Tower end of the beach which has a ramped entrance to the balcony and also a ramped access to the lower sundeck on the beach. It also offers a shared ladies / accessible toilet and the key is available to patrons from the serving counter. Some place is available to stay there like Sand Hotel, Walpole Bay, The Glenwood are great rated. Also some pubs, bars are open for night outing like Lighthouse bar, Two Halves, Northern Belle etc.
The nearest railway station is Margate train station which is situated 200m away from the beach. There are frequent high speed trains to Margate from London, which take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. There is a taxis rank located to the right of the train station. Nearest bus stops are located in Cecil Square which is approximately 0.5miles away (15 minutes from the seafront). The cheapest way to rich Margate from London is to bus which costs £6 - £8 and takes 2hours and 55minutes.
Margate is home to some fantastic sandy beaches that are one of the major attractions to visitors to this beautiful seaside town. This beach is clean and sandy perfect on a sunny day.
