Sometimes you get a rotten customer who refuses to pay you for your hard work in the junk removal business. It is never an outright refusal, however. It is always a labyrinth of excuses, botched payment methods, intentional communication problems, and misdirection. In order to protect ourselves from this recurring problem, we devised a fool proof standard operating procedure. They get their trash back, and everything is as it was, no harm no foul.
Its funny, we have never had a payment issue from someone who didn't have a criminal record when we investigated them later. This particular individual who got reversal of service had two felony thefts, a DWI, and a charge for giving the police a false identification (using a fake name when he got in trouble). And this was a grown ass, 40-something year old man when he did these things - a real winner.
