Q - Instagram - Rallygibson - Hey! I’m new to the VW game with my MK7.5 GTI. I just had a quick question about oil. My car is almost at 1,000miles and I want to switch over to Motul XCess 5w40 since it is VW 502 00 approved and I’ve had good results with it in my STi. How long should I give the factory oil? I imaging the 0w20 they put in there from the factory probably plays a roll in the break-in period since it’s much thinner. Thanks and any advice is appreciated!
