2023 Update - Goat Canyon is a valley in San Diego County, California located within the Carrizo Gorge in the Jacumba Mountains. The San Diego and Arizona Eastern Railway was dubbed "The Impossible Railroad" due to the difficulties involved in building a Railroad between San Diego and Yuma Arizona. This railroad also runs through part of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. It's fun to think that someday track maintenance would be done and the railroad be reopened, even if it where just for easier hiking and biking. I'd love to see it opened for special events for Speeders, Rail Carts, and Railbikes! :)
