The Lake Angikuni vanishing was an event that supposedly happened in the 1930’s, on the shores of the Northern Canadian lake. It started with a wondering trapper that went to the village during his travels but discovered there was no one there. The village itself looked very much alive however. Personal belongings, cloths, food supply, cooking utensils, guns, all remained from the nowhere to be found Eskimos. Word apparently got to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where they did an investigation, but, in short, found nothing. The story would become a distant memory until about 30 years later, when it was brought back to public attention. From here, the story sort of became a cult classic for story tellers and urban myths.
In this video, I tell the original story and examine the evidence over the years for its validity.
