"Uncovering the Deadly Plot at John Hadland Laboratories" tells the story of Graham Young, a 24-year-old storeman who worked at the John Hadland Laboratories in 1971. Young had a fascination with poisons and had been convicted and imprisoned for poisoning his stepmother and others. He was hired at the factory, and several employees fell ill with a mysterious illness. It was eventually discovered that Young was poisoning his coworkers with thallium, a highly toxic heavy metal. Two of Young's colleagues died, and he was eventually caught and sentenced to life in prison. The video features interviews with former employees who were affected by Young's poisoning, as well as experts who discuss the science behind thallium poisoning.
