As part of the #ONEFORALL interview series, we got to talk with Italian choreographer and performer Silvia Gribaudi. We talked about GRACES, her inspirations, work and creative process.

Silvia Gribaudi is one of the few artists who dares to be funny, rude and sympathetic at the same time. In her latest performance GRACES she examines the conventions surrounding the body image and gender roles in a comic manner. Gribaudi draws inspiration from the ancient Haritas (or the Three Graces), daughters of Zeus, who embody joy, charm and beauty, and in particular the non-classical sculpture of Antonio Kanova, made between 1812 and 1817. With dance and words, but especially with warmth and ease, the performance will reveal what lies at the heart of humanity.
